"We cannot change what we are not aware of, and once we are aware, we cannot help but change."

Sheryl Sandberg

Welcome to the journey of self-discovery and healing. Embarking on the therapeutic journey is a courageous step towards self-exploration and positive change. As your therapist, my goal is to create a safe space where we can explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences together. Whether you seek clarity, relief from stress, or a deeper understanding of yourself, our sessions are dedicated to supporting you on your path to personal growth and well-being.

ARE YOU READY TO FIND SOLUTIONS?

Since we’re in the realm of well-being, let's normalize the idea that seeking therapy is a strength, not a stigma. Embracing the gym for physical fitness is widely accepted; similarly, recognizing therapy as a normal path to emotional fitness is a step toward holistic well-being. Both endeavors signify a commitment to self-improvement and resilience, acknowledging that mental health deserves the same attention as physical health. I aim to create an inclusive and judgment-free space where individuals, couples and families can explore their challenges, enhance communication, and foster emotional resilience.

Therapy isn't just a remedy for struggles; it's a powerful tool for personal and relational growth, providing a supportive environment to navigate life's complexities and build stronger, healthier connections. I encourage you to consider therapy as an invaluable investment of your time – a dedicated effort to build a personalized toolbox for life.

This investment extends beyond the therapeutic space, becoming a foundation for navigating life's challenges and fostering long-term well-being. It's a commitment to your personal growth and the empowerment to face whatever comes your way.

THERAPEUTIC APPROACH

As a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a degree from Nova Southeastern University, I specialize in working with teenagers, couples, and families. My therapeutic approach is rooted in the belief that even the slightest change can lead to a significant transformation. I have a profound passion for supporting couples and blended families, recognizing that there's no one-size-fits-all when it comes to family dynamics. I meet my clients where they are, embracing the uniqueness of each family.

I advocate for a holistic approach, acknowledging the interconnectedness of the mind and body in the therapeutic process. My goal is to work collaboratively with you to foster positive changes and strengthen your relationships.

In our sessions, we work together to equip you with essential skills, insights, and coping mechanisms.

Some modalities of therapy, which I often find myself practicing-based on a custom individualized approach include Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy , Brief Strategic Family Therapy, as well as Gottman couples therapy, and TF-CBT. I also hold a certification as a Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction Practitioner for teens.

Therapy becomes a meaningful investment for individuals and couples alike, providing them with the opportunity to construct lifelong toolboxes. Through guided introspection, both individuals and partners build resilience, effective coping mechanisms, and heightened self-awareness to navigate life's challenges together or individually.

A LITTLE BIT MORE ABOUT ME

I am a graduate of Ave Maria University, where I earned my bachelor's degree in Psychology while passionately playing basketball. My journey as a registered behavior therapist, specializing in working with children on the spectrum and their families, inspired my transition to systemic therapy for couples and families. I believe in the importance of community and recognize that it truly takes a village. On the same note, I recognize the intricate connection between life stressors and relationships, understanding that external pressures can influence our behavior, sometimes diverting us from how we aspire to treat others. My expertise extends to working with individuals, teens and couples, fostering growth and connection.

Beyond my therapeutic role, I am a proud mother to my son, navigating the delicate balance between life and wellness. Outside the therapy room, I find joy in spending quality time with my family, catching sunsets, pursuing photography, and savoring moments by the beach or exploring cozy coffee shops, which all absolutely help FILL MY CUP!
