And you ask"What if I fall?"

Oh but my darling,

What if you fly?"

Erin Hanson

Is your relationship beginning to feel increasingly difficult? Do you feel like all you do is argue? Do you feel like you’re growing apart and not communicating effectively?

Do you feel overwhelmed by the little things? Do you feel that you have racing thoughts and constant worries? Feeling that you have more downs than ups?

Have you experienced something traumatic in your life and would like to set free form these feelings?

ARE YOU READY TO FIND SOLUTIONS?

Life is supposed to be “good" and we are supposed to be “happy.” Sometimes life, just like in a “script”, messages can get lost in translation, and as a result characters may struggle with the set, the fellow actors, the words, the emotions or simply finding their own place in the story.

Have you ever felt that way? I certainly have…

Therapy might be the means to make sense of where we are in life, your script, and to find the way to connecting with others or with the better versions of ourselves.

If you are reading this, you might already be looking for answers or solutions to a situation that is emotionally or mentally bothering, overwhelming or unbearable. You want to feel better, healthier or simply happier. You might already know what you want to see different, or you might not have a clue, but definitely needing the change. I am here to accompany you on this journey with empathy, open heart and mind, and professional knowledge, in a place where you can feel safe and heard. Deciding to be here is your first step towards taking off and making things better.

THERAPEUTIC APPROACH

When I meet with you I look at you from a holistic perspective of mind, body and soul. All aspects are important, the present where you are and what you brought with you from past generations.

I am forward looking (solution focused therapy), being here to support you in rewriting your story (narrative therapy) and healing your mind and body (somatic connections, tapping and EMDR trauma therapy).  As a relational therapist I am trained in Gottman level 1 and 2 for couples work, while my approach for individual and couple therapy is also IFS-informed (internal family systems).

I have experience working with individuals and couples, who struggle with communication and relational issues, substance abuse, trauma, anxiety, depression or their present place in life.

A LITTLE BIT MORE ABOUT ME

I am about as eclectic as the place I come from, Romania. Originally trained as a scientist (MS in Bio-Chemical engineering, Asachii Technical University, Iasi, Romania), I also had a career in the field of Communication (MA in Communication and Management from John Carroll University, Cleveland, OH) as a journalist, editor of children's books and communication trainer, before becoming a psychotherapist (MS in Marriage and Family Therapy, Nova Southeastern University, FL). I am passionately interested in emotions, human interactions and photography and I found that zooming in and out helps seeing different perspectives and realities in both domains.

My vast professional and spiritual journeys gifted me with experiences that help me be present for you on your journey. I lived in different European countries and over 10 years in the US, being exposed to different cultures, I am fluent and offer therapeutic services in 3 languages (English, Hungarian, Romanian), in person and on-line.
