Medication is something that psychiatrists prescribe, and they manage the physical symptoms caused by trauma and possibly anxiety and depressive symptoms. Through counseling, the process is designed to collaboratively discover effective techniques to decrease the effects of the trauma as well as break free from past hurtful experiences. 

How long will it take to find relief through trauma counseling?

While treatment is a personalized approach and each case is unique, counseling for anxiety may offer relief with as few as 6 – 8 sessions.
