"It's funny how you wake up each day and never really know if it it will be the one that will change your life"

Shawn from The Secret World of Arrietty

Have you found yourself reminiscing about a time when life felt "simple" or "good," wondering why it seems impossible to return to that state?

Are you longing for a change in your relationship but uncertain whether it's achievable?

Do you envision yourself and family experiencing greater peace and harmony?

ARE YOU READY TO FIND SOLUTIONS?

You believe you have tried everything you can think of and nothing is working or sticking for lasting change. And this is when therapy can be most useful. You have come to the right place.

Therapy is a wonderful resource that can result in life long benefits. Just like we go to an accountant for tax preparations, meeting with a therapist can help you find the changes you want for your life and those you love most.

I believe therapist should be change oriented. I aim to create an inclusive, non-judgmental space where individuals, couples, and families can address challenges, improve communication, and build resilience. You believe you have tried everything you can think of and nothing is working or sticking for lasting change. THERAPEUTIC APPROACH

As a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a degree from Nova Southeastern University, I specialize in working with children, teenagers, couples, and families. I advocate for a holistic approach, recognizing the mind-body connection in therapy. Together, we work to facilitate positive changes and strengthen your relationships and emotional well-being.

During our sessions, I focus on our relationship being strong with the focus on finding change. My therapeutic modalities include Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Brief Strategic Family Therapy, Gottman Couples Therapy, and TF-CBT. Additionally. I also utilize mindfulness and other creative methods to help the process, such as art and play, and social emotional learning with children.

Therapy is a meaningful investment, which can provide you with life long lasting changes.

A LITTLE BIT MORE ABOUT ME

I hold a master degree from Nova Southeastern University in Marriage and Family Therapy. My journey as a clinician has provided me extensive experience working with children and teens emotional and behavioral issues, assisting adults with anxiety, depression, trauma, substance abuse as well as with relationship concerns for couples and families.

When I am not working, you can find me spending time with my family, my cat Paco, or practicing yoga, doing qigong and riding my bike outside. I also love good food, traveling, sewing, industrial design and anything I can make and build with my hands.

I’ve lived on both, the left coast and right coast of the U.S., and I have spent some time in England as a teenager as part of a student exchange program.

I look forward to collaborating with you to assist you on your journey to happiness and overall health.
